Highly Efficient Electricity Generation and Creating Sustainable Energy through Facilities Countermeasures
TEPCO is implementing short, medium, and long-term facilities countermeasures and reducing the amount of fuel used in order to improve the thermal efficiency and operation rate at thermal power stations.
Additionally, we have implemented countermeasures that take into account "fuel", "facility" and "operational" measures, helping us maintain some of the lowest emission levels in the world in order to reduce the main air pollutants emitted from thermal power stations such as sulfur oxide (SOx), nitrogen oxide (NOx), and soot and dust.

We have implemented three-pronged countermeasures in order to reduce the air pollutants emitted from thermal power stations and allow us maintain some of the lowest emission levels in the world.
